In her role as human resources generalist manager, Marlene Wilkerson supports the talent acquisition, development and retention of Hunt Midwest employees. Additionally, she provides proactive support in employee and labor relations, employee communications, events, employee benefit administration, legal compliance and HR policy development/implementation.
Before joining Hunt Midwest, Marlene spent more than seven years in human resources, serving in recruiting and generalist roles. She also has six years of experience working as a behavior interventionist and positive
behavior support coach.
Marlene currently serves on the SHRM-KC board of directors and holds both her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designations.
Marlene is a graduate of the University of Missouri – Kansas City with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She and her family live in Smithville, Missouri.
