As manager of new business development, Wes Detwiler analyzes new opportunities, completes financial underwriting, and performs due diligence on potential Hunt Midwest commercial and residential real estate projects.
Wes has 12 years of commercial real estate finance experience that includes underwriting commercial loans, analyzing property performance, researching macro and micro economic real estate trends, and trading bonds.
A former real estate underwriting consultant with Wells Fargo in New York City, Wes also has served as senior financial analyst and fund manager for Block Real Estate Services. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in information systems from the University of Texas at Arlington, as well as an MBA, with an emphasis in finance, from the University of Missouri.
Wes was a captain and four-year varsity baseball letter winner at University of Texas-Arlington and Cowley College. He and his family live in a Hunt Midwest subdivision in Kansas City’s Northland.
