Savannah, GA — June 2, 2026 — Kansas City-based real estate development company Hunt Midwest is expanding its industrial platform into Georgia with a new 1.9 million-square-foot master planned development just minutes from the Port of Savannah.

The new Hunt Crossroads Commerce Center will be located at the northwest corner of Jimmy DeLoach Parkway and Interstate 16, providing direct access to the fastest-growing port on the East Coast, the fastest highway routes to Atlanta, and the Interstate 95 corridor.

The 280-acre industrial park will deliver up to 1.9 million± square feet of Class A industrial space across six planned buildings, with build-to-suit and flexible leasing options designed to accommodate users from 100,000 to 427,680 square feet.

The first phase of infrastructure work is underway, and construction on the 318,367-square-foot Building I will begin in late summer, with delivery scheduled in Q2 2027. This initial rear-load building will feature a 36-foot minimum clear height, 57 dock-high doors, two drive-in doors, 149 car parking spaces, and 77 trailer parking spaces.

“Our development is at the crossroads of port access and interstate connectivity, next to the Port of Savannah, the fastest-growing port on the East Coast,” Hunt Midwest Executive Vice President Mike Bell said. “Hunt Crossroads Commerce Center’s immediate access to I‑16 to Atlanta and direct access to the I‑95 corridor offers users a faster path to Southeast markets.”

The Port of Savannah is one of the best-connected ports in the U.S. to world markets, with 40 ship calls a week, 42 double-stack trains per week, and 14,000 truck gate moves daily. The Georgia Ports Authority has already invested more than $3.2 billion in infrastructure improvements over the past decade and plans to invest another $5 billion over the next decade, including five new big ship container berths.

“Georgia Ports welcomes Hunt Midwest to the Port of Savannah,” said Georgia Ports President and CEO Griff Lynch. “This new industrial park will accelerate U.S. supply chain efficiency here in Georgia and the Southeast region with our gateway port, and we’re excited to partner with them.”

Hunt Crossroads Commerce Center’s port access, combined with immediate interstate connectivity, makes the park ideally positioned for port-driven users, import-export activity, and regional supply chain operations serving major Southeastern population centers. From the site, tenants will be able to reach 110 million consumers with one-day shipping and 230 million with two-day shipping.

The industrial park also is located just two highway exits east on I-16 from the Hyundai Meta Plant, the automaker’s new electric and hybrid vehicle manufacturing plant with the capacity to produce 300,000 vehicles annually.

Leasing at the industrial park will be handled by Bill Sparks and Preston Andrews of CBRE.

Hunt Crossroads Commerce Center is Hunt Midwest’s first development in Georgia as the company expands its industrial footprint across the Southeast. Hunt Midwest now has more than 10 million square feet of Class A industrial space available or under development across Kentucky, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
