Simpsonville, KY — June 16, 2026 — Kansas City-based real estate development company Hunt Midwest is completing the first two buildings at Simpsonville 64 Logistics Park, delivering 775,000 total square feet of much-needed new Class A industrial space to the highly desirable and supply-constrained Louisville market.

The 505,134-square-foot, cross-dock Logistics II facility was completed last month and is available for immediate occupancy, and the 270,098-square-foot, rear-load Logistics I building will be completed by August. Leasing opportunities remain available in both buildings.

“Simpsonville Logistics Building II will be one of the only 500,000-square-foot, Class A buildings available in the constrained Louisville market right now, offering essential space with the location, labor, and logistics today’s top companies need,” Hunt Midwest Executive Vice President Mike Bell said. “This is the perfect opportunity for a company that relies on quick-turn shipping with easy access to UPS Worldport, the premier hub for global air freight logistics.”

Both new buildings offer users best-in-class specifications. Logistics II provides 36-foot clear height, 58 dock doors expandable to 102, four drive-in doors, 200-foot truck courts, 320 car parking spaces, 135 trailer parking spaces, and build-to-suit office space. Logistics I will offer 32-foot clear height, 27 dock doors expandable to 64, two drive-in doors, 210 car parking spaces, 80 trailer parking spaces, and build-to-suit office space.

The development represents the first building deliveries at the master-planned Simpsonville 64 Logistics Park, which will support up to 3.3 million square feet of commercial and industrial space with direct access to Interstate 64 at Exit 28 in Shelby County, Kentucky, just east of Louisville.

Simpsonville 64 Logistics Park is located in the heart of Kentucky’s automotive and manufacturing corridor, placing suppliers central to the Ford Kentucky Truck Plant, Ford Louisville Assembly Plant, GE Appliance Park, and Toyota’s Georgetown Assembly Plant.

Its proximity to Interstates 65 and 75 also puts it within a day’s drive of 50 percent of the U.S. population and provides convenient access to nearby logistics assets including UPS Worldport, FedEx Ground, and the Amazon Air Hub. A large labor pool offers approximately 570,000 workers within a 30-mile radius of the park.

Simpsonville 64 Logistics Park also features robust infrastructure with all essential utilities readily available on-site and is supported by two utility partners, LG&E KU and Shelby Energy Cooperative, providing dependable electric service across the park.

Build-to-suit options also are available in Simpsonville 64 Logistics Park for industrial users of up to 1.5 million square feet, and commercial and retail opportunities are available along the frontage of Buck Creek Road.

Hunt Midwest’s partners on Simpsonville 64 Logistics Park include H2B Architects, Mindel Scott engineers, and Evans General Contractors. Leasing for the industrial projects in the park is being handled by Doug Butcher and Alex Grove of CBRE.
