
Aaron Schmidt oversees Hunt Midwest’s strategic efforts to identify new property acquisitions and create new development opportunities across the U.S.
Aaron joined Hunt Midwest in 2006, and he has almost three decades of experience in real estate planning and construction. He leads the team developing KCI 29 Logistics Park, the 3,300-acre megasite that is Missouri’s largest shovel-ready industrial site and will support almost 20 million square feet of development. He also oversees the company’s analysis and pursuit of new markets, strategic property acquisitions, and special development opportunities. Over two decades with Hunt Midwest, Aaron also led the development, design, and construction of more than 1,500 new homes in master-planned communities across the Kansas City metro. He created Hunt Midwest’s infrastructure services division more than 15 years ago and led the market identification, land acquisition, entitlement, and design for Hunt Midwest’s $100 million senior living expansion nationwide.
Aaron is a dedicated advocate for Kansas City’s Northland and is involved in several civic and philanthropic organizations serving the Northland community. He was named a 2023 NextGen Leader by the Kansas City Business Journal.
