Senior Manager Matt Sobaski is responsible for estimation, value engineering, and project management for maintenance and construction projects in Hunt Midwest’s industrial portfolio, and he is the lead construction manager in SubTropolis, the world’s largest underground business complex.

Matt Sobaski is responsible for estimation, value engineering, and project management for maintenance and construction projects in Hunt Midwest’s industrial portfolio, and he is the lead construction manager in SubTropolis, the world’s largest underground business complex.

Matt joined Hunt Midwest in 2018 and has more than two decades of experience in estimating and construction management. He works closely with the industrial real estate division to maintain, plan, and develop the company’s growing industrial portfolio in Kansas City and he oversees the unique SubTropolis process of preparing undeveloped space in the former lateral limestone mine for new construction. Matt has led the construction of more than 3.5 million square feet of SubTropolis’ almost 10 million square feet of leasable space and his work will pave the way for SubTropolis to grow to 14 million square feet at full build out. Matt also has played a role in developing industrial properties at Hunt Midwest Business Center and mixed-use projects.
