Investment Strategy
As director of investment strategy, Wes Detwiler analyzes, completes financial underwriting, and performs due diligence on potential Hunt Midwest commercial and residential real estate projects. He provides targeted financial analysis and research for Hunt Southwest as well as evaluates new geographical markets, strategic planning and identifying new business opportunities.
Wes has 15 years of commercial real estate finance experience that includes underwriting commercial loans, analyzing property performance, researching macro and microeconomic real estate trends, and trading bonds.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in information systems from the University of Texas at Arlington, as well as an MBA, with an emphasis in finance, from the University of Missouri. Wes was a captain and four-year varsity baseball letter winner at University of Texas-Arlington and Cowley College. He and his family live in a Hunt Midwest subdivision in Kansas City’s Northland.
