A Legacy of Development

About Hunt Midwest
At Hunt Midwest, we’re proud of our reputation in the communities we serve. Established six decades ago by Lamar Hunt, we have deep roots in Kansas City, cultivating enduring relationships supported by robust resources. Today, we’re an innovative company with expertise in industrial, self-storage, residential, multifamily and senior living communities in multiple geographic markets.
Through our extensive network and entrepreneurial approach to every project, we positively impact the communities in which we do business. Our vision extends far beyond the industry standard of concept to completion. Stability, integrity, growth and innovation are woven through our corporate culture.

As stewards of the Lamar Hunt Family name, we always take a long-term view because it is more than just a project to us.
It’s our legacy.

Decades of delivering best-in-class real estate solutions have earned Hunt Midwest a reputation for excellence and innovation.
Hunt Midwest is supported by robust resources, from the company’s financial strength to the team’s hard-won expertise across diverse industry types.
We cultivate enduring relationships across our industry and the communities we serve, because communication and collaboration across our extensive network are fundamental to building the best solution for success.
Our People
Hunt Midwest employees recognize that building relationships, creating generational developments, and making a positive community impact is vital to our company’s long-term success. Together, we are dedicated to transforming the landscape of every community and relationship we touch.

Philanthropy
Hunt Midwest’s team has dedicated countless hours to civic and charitable groups, chambers of commerce, and economic development organizations. Our employees have proudly and generously participated in the United Way’s annual workplace campaign since 1987, and we are key supporters of the Groundhog Run, an annual 5K/10K race held entirely underground in SubTropolis since 1982 to benefit children at the Mary Shaw Branton Therapeutic Preschool at Ability KC.
