MT. JULIET, Tenn. – June 18, 2019 – Hunt Midwest has received unanimous approval from the City Commission in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee to rezone a 5.5-acre site at 3125 N. Mt. Juliet Road where it plans to build The Capstone at Mt. Juliet, an assisted living and memory care community. The two-story, 76,000-square-foot senior housing community will offer 88 well-appointed studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites with accommodations for up to 114 residents.

Aaron Schmidt, vice president of development and construction at Hunt Midwest, has worked in collaboration with ISL Ventures, a division of Integral Senior Living (ISL), and Leading Light Development and Construction Consulting, to identify sites throughout the country in areas where the demand for senior housing is unmet.

A variety thoughtfully-designed indoor and outdoor amenities and gathering spaces will include formal and informal dining areas, chapel, fitness center, bistro lounge, sunroom, walking trails, gazebo and dog park.

Hunt Midwest has selected PI Architects to lead the overall design of the community and Civil Site Design Group to perform land planning and civil engineering for the project.

The project team plans to complete construction and welcome new residents in 2020.
