KCI 29 Logistics Park Building I
The Ace Hardware retail support center is the first development at the KCI 29 Logistics Park megasite, Missouri’s largest at 3,300 contiguous acres.
The 1.5 million-square-foot, cross-dock building is the company’s largest distribution facility in the country — almost double the size of the company’s average supply center — and it is the largest facility by building footprint in the Kansas City region.
The facility includes state-of-the-art warehouse management systems and automation to support Ace’s significant growth and growing retail demand. The support center will create 300 jobs and represents over $276.5 million in combined investment by Hunt Midwest and Ace Hardware.
The Kansas City Business Journal honored the project with a 2025 Capstone Award in the industrial category.
