Line Creek Trail

Spanning six miles north and south through Platte County, Missouri, Line Creek Trail serves as a multi-city connector for Kansas City, Missouri and Riverside and is accessible to many residential neighborhoods. As general contractor, Hunt Midwest worked with a variety of project partners throughout the building period to preserve surrounding natural stream corridors, ensuring that the thousands of residents living within two miles of the trail would have an opportunity to experience the landscape in its most natural form.

Kansas City, Missouri, Riverside, Platte County and numerous property owners provided funding for the $4M project. Line Creek Trail was completed in September 2013, allowing users of this alternative transportation corridor direct access to the Line Creek Community Center, Line Creek Elementary School and various shopping and business districts.
