Hunt Midwest Senior Housing Development - Capstone at Station Camp

Senior living community coming to Gallatin, TN
Tennessean – USA Today

Hunt Midwest has received final approval from city officials in Gallatin to build The Capstone at Station Camp, an assisted living and memory care community, on a 6-acre site at the southeast corner of Nashville Pike and Cages Bend Road.

The two-story, 76,000-square-foot senior housing development will offer 88 studios and one- and two-bedroom suites with accommodations for up to 114 residents.

Aaron Schmidt, general manager of Development and Construction at Hunt Midwest, in collaboration with ISL Ventures, a division of Integral Senior Living (ISL), and Leading Light Development and Construction Consulting, has worked to identify sites throughout the Midwest and Southeast to build high-quality developments supporting underserved senior residents.

“The Metro Nashville area has seen incredible population growth over the last several years,” Schmidt said. “An increase of families’ moving into the area, paired with a large number of seniors’ desiring to stay close to home, has created an urgent need for quality senior housing. Our team is pleased to offer The Capstone at Station Camp to meet the current and ongoing demand for first-class assisted living and memory care in a perfect location that gives seniors from Gallatin, Hendersonville and surrounding areas the ability to stay within their communities and close to friends and loved ones.”

The Capstone at Station Camp will incorporate elements from the surrounding area’s architecture, with red brick and neutrally colored stucco, outdoor terraces and balconies, gardens bordered by brick columns and wrought iron fencing, and ample windows to allow natural light. A variety of amenities designed to promote an engaging, social lifestyle among residents will include a great room, formal dining room, fitness center, bistro lounge, sunroom, walking trails, gazebo and dog park.

“We’ve aligned with ISL to operate The Capstone once construction is complete,” Schmidt said. “ISL’s steadfast dedication to delivering a quality senior living environment with a fulfilling workplace is a major factor in why we’ve chosen to partner with ISL and why they have continued to be an industry leader in senior living management for nearly two decades.”

Construction of the two-story, 76,000-square-foot building is set to commence in March 2019, with an anticipated project completion of August 2020. Hunt Midwest has selected Pi Architects to lead the overall design of the community, Civil Site Design Group to perform land planning and civil engineering and Hardaway Construction as general contractor for the project.
