
Leah FitzGerald leads the vision, planning, and execution of Hunt Midwest’s mixed-use development platform.
Leah joined Hunt Midwest in 2026 and has more than 30 years of experience across architecture, construction, and commercial real estate. She shapes the company’s mixed-use development strategies, guides design and placemaking efforts, and delivers integrated mixed-use projects that transform communities. She also plays a key role in sourcing new development opportunities across the country. She has directed more than $2.6 billion in commercial real estate projects and built strong partnerships with developers, public agencies, and community stakeholders.
Leah was inducted into the Midwest Real Estate Hall of Fame in 2023, and she is a member of the Kansas City Business Journal’s 2022 class of Women Who Mean Business. She also is an active leader in civic, economic development, and industry organizations, and she currently serves on the boards of the Missouri Partnership, Starlight Theatre, and Kansas City YPO-Gold chapter.
