Ora Reynolds oversees all Hunt Midwest strategic planning, properties, and people for the real estate development company owned by the Lamar Hunt Family. She is a passionate leader whose creativity and vision have propelled the company’s exponential growth, strategic direction, and development pipeline.
Ora joined Hunt Midwest in 1991 and was named president and chief executive officer in 2010. She established Hunt Midwest’s residential division in 1993 and led the company’s entry into the multifamily, senior living, self-storage, and data center markets during her tenure as CEO. Hunt Midwest’s industrial development portfolio has expanded dramatically under Ora’s leadership with more than 9 million square feet developed at SubTropolis, the world’s largest underground business complex, and more than 50 million square feet of completed or planned developments nationwide.
Ora believes in the power of giving back to transform both the real estate industry and the communities Hunt Midwest serves. She has made philanthropy and civic engagement cornerstones of the company’s mission, and she is a tireless advocate for Kansas City’s arts and business communities. As one of the few female executives in the commercial real estate industry, Ora also is a dedicated mentor for other women leaders across the Midwest and beyond.
