Tony Borchers is responsible for identifying new development opportunities and conducting due diligence with third-party consultants and government agencies, including site selection, site design, entitlements, and permitting.

Tony joined Hunt Midwest in 2019, and he has more than three decades of experience in real estate and development. He works directly with clients, site selectors, brokers, and economic development agencies to design build-to-suit real estate solutions at Hunt Midwest properties across the country. He has played a central role in the company’s ongoing expansion across the Southeast U.S. that now includes almost 10 million square feet of industrial space completed or under development in Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, and South Carolina.

Tony is an active member of Kansas City’s planning and economic development communities and has served on several economic organizations’ boards, including as a founding member of the Parkville Economic Development Council.
