Senior Vice President Mike Bell leads Hunt Midwest’s commercial real estate division and is responsible for the overall growth and management of the company’s industrial leasing, property management, construction, data center, and development services.

Mike Bell leads Hunt Midwest’s commercial real estate division and is responsible for the overall growth and management of the company’s industrial leasing, property management, construction, data center, and development services.

Mike joined Hunt Midwest in 2011, and he has helped lead the ongoing expansion of the company’s industrial portfolio nationwide. He has led Hunt Midwest’s build-to-suit partnerships with multiple Fortune 10 companies in Kansas City and oversees the development of two of Missouri’s largest industrial megasites at KCI 29 Logistics Park and Hunt Midwest Business Center. He also leads the management and continued expansion of SubTropolis, the world’s largest underground business complex, which has more than doubled in size to almost 10 million square feet of developed space during his tenure. Mike’s cutting-edge work on data center development established SubTropolis Technology Center, a mission critical development with up to 100MW of power capacity, and he secured Google’s first hyper-scale data center project in Missouri at Hunt Midwest Business Center.

Mike is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors and in 2023 he was inducted into the Midwest Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame by RE Journals. Born in Michigan, he is an avid hockey fan who plays weekly in an adult competitive league in Shawnee.
