As vice president and general manager of Hunt Midwest Real Estate Development, Mike Bell leads the commercial team of sales, leasing, property management, construction, mission critical and development services. He is responsible for the overall growth and management of the commercial real estate division. The newest addition to the commercial portfolio is Hunt Midwest’s mission critical campus—SubTropolis Technology Center. In the past five years, the commercial real estate division expanded SubTropolis by 1,300,000 SF, developed the 400,000 SF SubTropolis Technology Center, added 126-acres to Hunt Midwest Business Center, developed 400,000 SF of industrial spec buildings and opened 139 luxury apartments at Mission 106.
Mike served as chairman for both the Associated Builders and Contractors and the Church of the Resurrection board of trustees. He is a member of the Young President’s Organization along with real estate and technology organizations like KCADC, KC Next, AFCOM, CCIM, IMN and NAOIP.
Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in architectural engineering from the University of Kansas. He lives with his
family in Leawood, Kansas.
