KCI 29 LOGISTICS PARK GROUNDBREAKING
Hunt Midwest and Governor Mike Parson celebrated the groundbreaking on KCI 29 Logistics Park public infrastructure work and the I-29/Mexico City Avenue interchange improvements. Ace Hardware Corporation announced it would be the 3,300-acre mega site’s first tenant in a 1.5 million-square-foot build-to-suit retail support center.

Hunt Midwest develops first industrial project in Kansas with acquisition of 113-acre Heartland Logistics Park in March. Construction started on the Shawnee, Kansas site with Building II, a 574,732 square foot cross-dock facility of a planned three to four buildings totaling 1.5 million square feet.




SUBTROPOLIS EXPANSION CONTINUES
Hunt Midwest begins build-out of an additional 700,000 square feet of speculative Class-A space in SubTropolis, bringing the complex up to 7.5 million square feet of leasable space. The expansion provides an excellent solution for warehousing and distribution operations to meet the current supply chain and speed-to-market demands.

The 323,000 square foot speculative building will be located in Blankenbaker Station, a Class A mixed-use business park in eastern Jefferson County, and adjacent to the local FedEx Ground terminal.
