Loveland, Colorado — December 12, 2024 — Hunt Midwest has sold its Capstone at Centerra assisted living and memory care community in Loveland, Colorado, for $40 million to IRA Capital, a California-based private equity firm focused on alternative investments.

Capstone at Centerra is Hunt Midwest’s most recent Capstone senior living development, completed and opened in 2023, and it is the company’s first development in Colorado. The 102-residence community was 95% occupied at the sale’s closing.

“Our Hunt Midwest team is proud to have developed a vibrant senior community in Loveland, Colorado, and this sale underscores that quality, stabilized senior housing communities remain attractive to investors,” Hunt Midwest President & CEO Ora Reynolds said.

Capstone at Centerra includes 56 assisted living apartments and 46 memory care residences in Loveland’s 3,000-acre Centerra master planned development. The prime location offers easy access to nearby shopping, dining, and healthcare facilities, including the UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies and Banner McKee Medical Center.

The community features spacious, well-appointed floor plans, including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom options, all featuring modern finishes such as granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and high-quality flooring. The community includes a full-service dining room, a fitness center, and beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces for relaxation and socialization. Additional amenities include a salon, library, game room, and scheduled transportation services, ensuring that residents have everything they need for a fulfilling and engaging lifestyle.

Capstone at Centerra is the third Capstone senior living community developed by Hunt Midwest, including the Capstone at Royal Palm in Royal Palm Beach, Florida, and the Capstone at Station Camp in Gallatin, Tennessee.

Since 2010, Hunt Midwest has developed 850 total assisted living and memory care residences at its Capstone and Benton House branded communities across five states, including Colorado, Florida, Missouri, Kansas, and Tennessee.

Hunt Midwest was represented in the sale by BWE Investment Sales Senior Vice President Charles Bissell and Vice President Tony Hong.
